Calling all noisy kids! It’s time to plan for fancy dress and fun at St Albans Symphony Orchestra’s popular concerts for children, both taking place this year on Sunday 6th November.

By coming along at either 2pm or 3.30pm to St Saviour’s Church (Sandpit Lane, St Albans AL1 4DF) children of all ages will be able to experience the large-as-life sounds of a symphony orchestra in full cry.

As usual, there will be a musical adventure story. Hear ‘Not Now, Bernard!’, narrated by the composer himself, Bernard Hughes. To add to the excitement, children in the audience are invited to meet the musicians during the concert interval and enjoy an opportunity to try out their instruments.

Fancy dress isn’t compulsory, but many members of the orchestra will be dressed as their favourite super-hero, monster, princess, prince or villain – and we hope that children in the audience will do the same.
